Dr Camilla Morelli

Senior Lecturer in Social Anthropology, The University of Bristol

Camilla specialises in the anthropology of childhood & youth, and the use of participatory visual methods that can explore and amplify young voices. She has conducted ethnographic fieldwork in the Amazon rainforest for over ten years, examining how children’s imaginations and desires are driving large processes of social and economic change.

Professor Daniela Schmidt

Professor at the School of Earth Sciences and the Cabot Institute, University of Bristol

Daniela’s research examines the impact of climate change on ocean ecosystems, at the coast and in the open ocean in the present, past and future. Her highly interdisciplinary research assesses marine protected areas as a tool to safeguard these ecosystems and their services. She is a coordinating lead author of the IPCC WGII on climate change impacts and adaptation.

Sophie Marsh

Animation director

Sophie is a Bristol-based animator specialising in stop-motion with paper puppets. She is passionate about telling humorous and educational stories about the environment, animal life and climate change. She is the writer and director of, Untamed Truths, an animated film funded by The Random Acts Project (Calling the Shots) and broadcasted by Channel 4.
